Production Supervisor
Description
- College Graduate of any course
- With at least 2 years work experience as Production Supervisor in Japanese Electronics manufacturing Industry.
- With strong back in handling manpower
- Knowledgeable in FMEA, SPC, why why analysis, OCAP and Production Planning
- Keen to details, work with minimum supervision, with good analytical and critical thinking
- Willing to work on at shift
Key Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Production Planning & Execution:
- Organizes, schedules, and prioritizes workflow to meet production targets.
- Monitors production performance, including daily output and efficiency, to minimize downtime.
- Assigns tasks to personnel and coordinates material requirements.
- Personnel Management & Leadership:
- Supervises, coaches, trains, and disciplines production staff.
- Manages shift rosters, conducts performance evaluations, and fosters a team environment.
- Ensures all staff are trained on machinery operation and safety procedures.
- Quality & Operational Control:
- Maintains quality standards and checks production output for adherence to specifications.
- Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves operational problems.
- Implements cost-reduction measures and process improvements.
- Safety & Maintenance:
- Enforces strict company and government safety regulations (e.g., OSHA).
- Ensures equipment is operating correctly by scheduling regular maintenance and repairs.
- Reporting & Communication:
- Submits daily/weekly reports on production progress and performance metrics.
- Communicates goals and expectations clearly to the team.
